Bio:
Stefano Casirati is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Forest Ecohydrology & Watershed Systems (FEWS) Lab at UC Merced. Before joining UC Merced, he completed his B.E. and M.E. in Environmental Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, where he also worked, as a research intern, on the project: “The role of Europe in Land deals: understanding the food-energy-water security nexus."
Currently, his research focuses on studying the effect of climate stressors on mountain hydrologic processes and forest ecosystems.
