Touyee Thao

Touyee Thao is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Soil and Environmental Physics Lab at UC,Merced. Prior to joining UC Merced (advisor Dr. Teamrat A. Ghezzehei), he completed his BSc and MSc in Agronomy and Water Management at California State University, Fresno, where he also worked as a Research Technician for the Center for Irrigation Technology (CIT). His current research focuses on investigating the effects of waste derived material (e.g. biochar and compost) on soil hydraulic and physicochemical properties.
