Originally from Santa Cruz, Calif., Spencer Cole came to Merced in 2015 as an undergraduate student andstudied Environmental Engineering. After completing his B.S., he spent half a year working as a researcher in the School of Engineering honing his skills in data analysis and model development before joining as a M.Sc. student in the Environmental Systems program. His research areas primarily focus on agricultural modeling, water resources management, hydroeconomics, and related fields.
